Review:God's Debris By Scott Adams
This is one of the most thought provoking reads around. and what is even better, is
that it is free !
And why is it free? A quote from the "official" download site:
"Frankly, this is the hardest book in the world to market. When it first came out
in hardcover, booksellers couldnt decide if it was fiction or nonfiction. Was it
philosophy or religion? Its a religion/science book written by a cartoonist, using
hypnosis techniques in the writing. Its a thought experiment. Its unlike
anything youve ever read."
And boy, are they right. Without giving too much away, it revolves around two
characters, and old man, and a delivery guy. The dialogue between these two will challenge
your perceptions on life itself, and have you re evaluating the things you thought
you knew.
The two characters discuss quantum physics, free will, evolution, God, gravity, light,
psychic phenomenon, and probability, and although this all may sound too technical or high
brow, it is worded in simple terms that makes it easy to follow and comprehend.
Their conclusions will astound you.
Scott Adams is better known as the cartoonist who created the Dilbert series. He shows
in this work, that he has a deeper side, and this may explain why the Dilbert cartoons can
be so quirky.
Overall, a fantastic read. 10/10
